At Seasons Kitchen and Bar, we strive to create every meal from the freshest, local ingredients.

Seasons Kitchen and Bar has been a staple of Davis for over a decade. Our restaurant offers guests a neighborhood casual dining experience with upscale service and exceptional culinary offerings. Executive Chef Yekaterina Balagian creates food that she would want to eat, utilizing the best products, sourced from farms in and around the Davis community. Our hand-crafted cocktails, rotating local beers and wine list, along with our Middle Eastern inspired cuisine sets us apart from other local dining options.

Chef Katerina

Chef Katerina Balagian was born in Armenia and raised in Providence, RI, where she was surrounded by the warmth of family gatherings centered around food. Looking to broaden her culinary horizons and embrace a richer tapestry of cultures, Chef Balagian moved westward to California, where she became a pastry chef at esteemed restaurants including Katrina Rozelle Pastries & Desserts, Coi, and Allora.

After many years in the industry, Chef Balagian decided to go back to her roots and cook food that reminded her of why she started cooking in the first place. This journey brought her to Seasons in Davis, where she now creates locally sourced, seasonally inspired menus that borrow elements from the cultural dishes she grew up eating at home.

Chef Balagian’s journey is one of inspiration and perseverance. Her passion for gastronomy as well as her dedication to her craft are evident in every dish she creates. She is not only a skilled chef, but also a thoughtful and caring individual who is committed to using her food to bring people together. Katerina is a role model for all chefs, and her story is a reminder that food can be more than just sustenance. It can be a way to connect with our culture, our heritage, and the people we love.

General Manager Ben Granner:

Ben Granner is a resolute individual with a deep appreciation for local fare, spirits, and providing exceptional customer service. As a Sacramento Carmichael native, he has had the privilege of growing up surrounded by the region's incredible farm-fresh cuisine. Ben's journey began with his leadership role at Starbucks, where he not only fueled his way through a BA at California State University, Sacramento but also gained valuable experience in managing high-volume markets. His outstanding performance earned him the title of Manager of the Quarter for the coffeehouse brand.

Seeking new challenges, Ben decided to leverage his managerial expertise and exceptional customer service skills in the fine dining industry. He embarked on his fine dining career at Paesano's Restaurant, where he has spent the past five years excelling and advancing to the pinnacle of success here at Seasons. Ben has captured the hearts of both the local clientele and his restaurant team through his innovative culinary creations, hands-on approach to teamwork, and commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Outside of work, Ben finds joy in the company of his two miniature dachshunds. Additionally, he enjoys maintaining and enhancing his home development in Oak Park, CA
